Increased response rates in e-marketing over traditional direct marketing.
Fast, flexible and responsive - taking days to produce and evaluate results rather than weeks. By using e-marketing, the response can be immediate.
Inexpensive to produce and personalize as opposed to printed material
Easy to target, track and measure.
Easy integration with print and other "offline" campaigns.
All the feedback and marketing data can be obtained and analyzed to improve the
e-marketing strategy and response rate for the next campaign.
Building your online identity.

"eMarketing"- If you coin this word to me and ask what it is, I would be telling that this is indeed the emerging field in any kind of business. Congratulations for the good choice!!!
To make yourself a good place in this field i feel you should posses a good creative thinking ahead of others.
Since i had purchased very few items online i would not be able to tell that this is a best mode to purchase. But I had felt that the security is one of the issue.
All the best!!!

As internet has become the part and parcel of our life,eMarketing is taking its wings to fly higher. Its a technique, implementing new marketing techniques through internet. It is one of the emerging technology upon which one can rely on.eMarketing is gaining its importance nowadays.

This could be because of several reasons,

1. Easy availability of goods.
2. Cheeper.
3. Internet provides large amount of information about a product.
4. Product will be in your door steps within few days of odering.
5. Customer need not wait in long queues to get his/her desired product.
6. Customers compete eachother to grab certains products(like iPode) at the time of release itself.
7. Less overhead for marketing people.

Even though it has got several advantages over traditional marketing techniques, there could be some problems that needs to be kept in mind before one jumps into eMarketing. This include

1. Guarantee on the quality of goods purchased is cosiderabily less.
2.Delay in the delivery process.
3. Customers may loose their money when goods are not delivered.
4. It doesnot ask for customer feedback.
5. Chances are there like customers are cheated by using unauthorised sites.
6. Delivered products may suffer defects during transportation.
7.Customers sometimes have to pay extra (as tariff/ shipping cost) at the time of delivery.
8.Common people who support the marketing feild(around 60% of market share) are unaware of this new technology.
9.Customer doesnt get a chance to familiarize the product before ordering it.

It could be made better through

1. Creating awareness about this technique amoung common people.
2.Provide Wifi network all over the world.
3.Guarentee that good products are delivered.
4.Marketing departments of every company should work efectively.
5.Ontime delivery system.
6.Effective collabaration with various transportation comapanies.

Almost everyones life now revolves around the internet.. Vast amount of information can be obatined, similarly, the vast potential it represents as a means of selling products is huge.. The ability to target a wholly large and diverse population and also that of targeting a specific group of interest, nonetheless makes it important. eMarketing is the word of the day, the realtime feedback able to be obtained.. for example. which ads have been viewed the most, from which site, how many clicks you've got for your product ad and so on.
email correspondence to clients and prospective ones, with no waste of money on postage and paper..
Updates can be effected easily, and also ads can be made interactive too.
Well, as a customer, the problems can be the sheer number of the ads, emails recieving, i.e. spam.. so, most of the times even useful info can be treated as spam.. So, there comes the need of a catchy subject to the email, maybe...
Details may not be clear, as there can be hidden terms and conditions as always, in totally incomprehendable legal fashion..
To be made better, things should be as simple as possible.. adding a touch of humour to wherever possible, always helps... too many catchy colours make it awkward..
too many emails to a customer or a prospective one, can get them fed up
Most of the people are used to shopping in person, where you can touch , feel or see the product in direct.. So, it maybe a lot difficult to adjust to buying with just a picture of it.. then, the issues of fraud is also present

If one is looking for a cost effective way which has a wide reach, to market products you have taken the right step by embracing e-marketing.
Personally, I feel, all one needs to excel in this field is a good dose of creativity unleashed and perpetuated thereby making a catchy presentation of the product to the user. One must also have a keen knowledge about the customer base for the product.
Depending on various factors such as current trend and other economic driving forces, the attitude of the customers varies. So once we have made a presentation or ad about a prdouct, its not enough. If we just sit back and relax, others will get money which you should have got. We should be carefully analyzing the forces that drive the market for the nature of the product and also aware of the shift in trends.
Overall, I feel this is one field that is open to all and easily accessible too as more and more people are getting connected to the internet day by day.
